Dennis Rogers

Dennis Rogers, age 61, of Johnson, Kansas, died Wednesday, March 7 2018, at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas. He was born August 12, 1956, in Sacramento, California, the son of William and Thelma (Lewis) Rogers.

Dennis spent most of his life in California. He received his Master of Education Degree. While in California, he taught math and was a high school principal. Dennis married Char England on March 22, 2003, in West Sacramento, California. They moved to Johnson in 2011. Dennis was a great musician, talented cartoonist, and loved the Lord immensely. He loved to make people laugh, and help them in anyway they needed. He also enjoyed road trips with his wife.

He is survived by his wife, Char of the home; daughter, Amber Deporto of Oregon; father, William Rogers of West Sacramento, California; and brother, Dave Rogers and wife Cara Lee of West Sacramento, California.

Dennis is preceded in death by his mother, and an infant sister.

Graveside service will be Monday, March 12, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. at Stanton County Cemetery in Johnson with Pastor Curt Alderton officiating.
