Delsa Faye Burrows

Delsa Faye Burrows, 86, of Liberal, passed away on February 8, 2023 at the Beaver County Nursing Home in Beaver, OK.

She was born on January 31, 1937 to Victor and Lois (Day) Rucker at Turkey, TX.

On January 14, 1972 she married Thomas “Tommy” Franklin Burrows at Olton, TX: Tommy preceded her in death on June 17, 2017.

She was a graduate of Olton High School in Olton,TX; class of 1956. After graduation she attended Amarillo Business College. Delsa worked as a Bookkeeper for Lubbock Linen Service, B & B Sales, and Liberal Area Radiator & Wrecker. Delsa and Tommy moved in Liberal, Kansas in 1972. She enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing, and the mountains. She also loved being with her family. Delsa was a member of the First Baptist Church in Liberal, KS.

Delsa is survived by Four Sons, Vince Burrows and wife Terri of Turpin, OK, Victor Burrows and wife Suzie of Liberal, KS, Vernon “Bud” Burrows of Bay Cliff, TX, Thomas Burrows, Jr. and wife Stacy of Albuquerque, NM; Daughter, Darla Witt and Husband Randy of Kim, CO; Sister, Nelda Winn of Gruver, TX; 14 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren, and 4 Great Great Grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents.

Viewing will be 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm Friday February 10, 2023 at Miller Mortuary, Liberal, KS.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 pm Saturday February 11, 2023 at the Miller Mortuary Chapel.

Burial will take place in the Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
