David Falke

David Falke, 82, died Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at SWMC inLiberal, Kansas.

He was born on January 29, 1936 in Billings, OK, the son of Otto and Regina ( Neuburg) Falke.

He graduated high school from Chanute, KS.

Dave married Sue Hitchcock in October, 1975, in Dalhart, TX.  They were married 42 years.

Dave was a professional truck driver.  He leased out his own fleet of trucks.  He also worked for Groendyke and Martin Trucking.  He also worked for Lyddon Air.  In his later life he drove the school bus for USD480.

Dave was an avid pilot, who loved to fly.  He loved the kids he drove to school each day.  He was also a member of the American Legion, VFW and the EAA flying club.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sons Jeff and Richard Falke; daughter Tracy Adams; Sister Janell Yeubanks; and brother Tommy Falke.

Memorial Services will be at 10:00 am, Thursday, July 12, at the First Southern Baptist Church, with pastor Jack Jacob presiding.  

Memorial contributions may be sent to the First Southern Baptist Church, in care of the Brenneman Funeral Home 1212 W. 2nd Liberal, KS 67901.
