Darrel L.Taylor, 89, of Liberal, passed away on Friday December 25, 2020 at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, KS

He was born on February 8, 1931 to Buford and Eva (Reed) Taylor at Clifton, KS.

On October 22, 1955 he married Georgia Carlile at the Raton, NM; she survives.

He attended school at Clifton, KS. He served on the front with Company K Infantry Regiment in Korea. He was a lifetime member of VFW Post 3166. Darrel retired from Northern Natural Gas Company in March 1992 after working with them for 37 years. He also farmed, ran cattle and had registered Paint and Quarter Horses. Darrel enjoyed rodeos, going to horse and cattle auctions. He was a member of the Quarter Horse Association and the Paint Horse Association for many years. He attended the South Church of God. He was a member of the Bethel Church of God and the North Church of God where he served on the board.

Darrel is also survived his Sister, Verna May Knox of Clifton, KS and many Nieces and Nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Two Brothers, Gary Taylor and Robert Taylor, Sister, Eunice Taylor, Sister in Law, Donna Taylor.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at the South Church of God, Liberal, Kansas, with Pastor Stan Lehnert, officiating. Masks are requested to be worn by those in attendance. The service will be Live Streamed on Miller Mortuary’s Face Book page.

Burial will take place in the Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
