Dale Richardson

Robert Dale Richardson, age 65, of Johnson, Kansas died Thursday, November 22, 2018, at Stanton County Hospital in Johnson, Kansas. He was born November 29, 1952, in Chickasha, Oklahoma.

Dale was raised by his grandparents in Oklahoma. He served in the United States Army during Vietnam. Dale drove truck for John Christner Trucking, worked for Ted and Ella Mae Julian for eight years, the Syracuse Dairy, and was a foreman at Double T Industries in Rolla. After retiring, he worked for Stanton County Foods for three years. Dale married Anna Santoya on December 16, 1997, in Ulysses.

Dale is survived by his wife, Anna of the home; sons, Robert Richardson of Brownwood, Texas, and Dakota Richardson of Johnson; daughters, Lorna Wiggins of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Sophia Regalado and husband Juan of Johnson; mother, Frances Richardson of Elkhart; brothers, Fred Richardson and wife Johnna of Marlow, Oklahoma; Rex Richardson and wife Becki of Elkhart, and Roger Richardson and wife Cara of Johnson; sisters, Shirley McCullum of Chickasha, Oklahoma, and Brenda Friend and husband Clark of Satanta; and three grandchildren, Khloe, Juaquin and Jakob.

He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee Richardson; and grandparents, Thomas and Elsie Richardson.

Funeral service is 10:00 AM on Monday, November 26, 2018, at Fields Memorial Wesleyan Church in Johnson, Kansas with Pastor Henry Bucznski officiating. Interment will follow at the Stanton County Cemetery in Johnson, Kansas. Friends may call from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Sunday, November 25, 2018, at Garnand Funeral Home in Johnson.
