Dale Alvin Dennett

Dale Alvin Dennett, age 73, of Ulysses, Kansas died Saturday, January 4, 2014 at The Legacy at Park View, Ulysses, Kansas. He was born May 2, 1940 at Woodward, Oklahoma, the son of C.W. (Bus) and Mildred M. (Canfield) Dennett.
Dale served in the U.S. Army and National Guard. He worked in the parts department of Murphy Tractor for 18.5 years. Dale enjoyed welding, making woodcrafts, gardening, mechanic work and watching NASCAR.
On January 25, 1964, Dale married Lovella Hagen at Woodward, Oklahoma, she survives.
Other survivors include one daughter; Jodi Seabolt and husband Charles of Ulysses, Kansas, two sons; Donald Dennett and wife Sherri of Liberal, Kansas, Tim Dennett of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, one sister; Doris Hauth and husband Earl of Woodward, Oklahoma, eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Dale is preceded in death by his parents, one brother; Gary Dennett, three grandsons and one great-granddaughter.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Shelton Memorial Christian Church, Ulysses, Kansas, with Reverend Kelly Gindlesberger officiating. Graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. at Midway Cemetery in Floris, Oklahoma. Friends may call on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Garnand Funeral Home, Ulysses, Kansas.
