Dakota James Hollis

Dakota James Hollis, 30, of Liberal, passed away on Friday July 14, 2023 at Baylor University Hospital in Dallas, TX.

He was born on January 22, 1993 to John and Denise (Roybal) Hollis at Liberal, KS.

Dakota worked as a mechanic for over five years at National Carriers. He also worked with Dillon and Peanut Security Service in Liberal. Dakota loved listening to music and spending time with his kids. He always had a big smile and was a bit of a jokester who enjoyed making people laugh.

Dakota is survived by his mother Denise Hollis of Liberal, KS; his Four Children, Julius Hollis and mother Blanca Carrosco; Zayden Hollis, Zavien Hollis, Zendaya Hollis and their mother Yajaira Garcia; Two Sisters, Felicia Calderon and husband Rodrigo of Liberal, KS, Piper Hollis of Wichita, KS; Two Brothers, Johnathan Hollis of Wichita, KS, Wade Hollis of Wichita, KS; Grandparents, Josie Lagunas of Liberal, KS, Neil & Debra Blair of Elkhart, KS, Dennis Roybal of Modesto, CA.

He was preceded in death by Father, John Christopher Hollis.

There will be no public viewing.

Rosary Service will be 1:00 pm Tuesday July 25, 2023 at the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Liberal, KS followed by the Funeral Mass at 2:00 pm.

Burial will be at Restlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
