Cynthia “Cindy” Martz

Cynthia “Cindy” Martz, 76, of Liberal, passed away on Tuesday May 14, 2024 at her residence.

She was born on May 8, 1948 to Hersel and Opal (Waybright) Stebens at Guymon, OK. Cindy owned and operated Simply Uniform in Liberal until her retirement. She was a member of the Western Ave Church of Christ. Cindy loved to watch OU football. She also enjoyed cross stitching, quilting, reading and playing games with her family. She was a very proud grandma.

Cindy is survived by her husband Charles, Two Sons, Roy Martz of Bridgeport, TX, Chuck (Stephanie) Martz of Bartlesville, OK; Daughter, Jamie (JR) Babst of Colby, KS; Grandchildren, Joshua Martz, Jacob (Sophia) Martz, Emma Dixon, Charli Martz, Lilly Dixon and Kaleb Dixon; Sister, Connie (Bud) Keever of Bartlesville, OK.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Brothers; Ron Stebens and Garry Stebens, and daughter-in-law Tracey Martz.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 15, 2024, 1:00 pm – 7:00 pm, with the family present to receive friends from 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm at Miller Mortuary, Liberal, Kansas.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at 1:00 pm at the Western Ave Church of Christ.

Burial will follow at the Liberal City Cemetery.

Miller Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.
