Cory Rash

Cory Rash, age 37, died Tuesday, May 30,2023 at his residence in Liberal, Kansas.

He was born on August 10, 1985, in Liberal, Kansas, to Jeff and Kristy Rash.

Cory attended school in Turpin, Oklahoma, where he graduated from High School.
He went to Southwest Oklahoma State University, where he graduated with a Physical Therapy Degree.
He worked for many years for Jayhawk Pipeline, where he was an equipment operator.

He is survived by:
his parents, Jeff and Kristi Rash of Turpin, Oklahoma
His fiancée, Serena Turpin of Liberal
His Son, CalCooper “Rowdy” Rash and daughter, Kendall Rash
His brothers, Shad Rash and his wife Sol, of Liberal and Dustin Rash of Granbury, Texas
Nephew Jayden and Niece Jaylee Rash of Liberal
grandfather, Don Rash and grandmother, Carolyn Ritterbush

He is preceded in death by his grandmother Pris Rash and grandfather Kenneth Ritterbush.

A visitation will be from 1pm to 4pm, Sunday, June 4th, 2023 at the Hornung Family Funeral Home, 1212 W 2nd Street, Liberal, KS, with the family present to greet friends from 2-4pm.

Funeral Services will be 10:30 AM, Monday, June 5, 2023, at the South Church of God, 635 S. Washington Avenue, in Liberal, Kansas with Jim Garcia presiding.

Graveside Services will follow at Liberal Cemetery.

Memorial contributions are suggested to The South Church of God, or for The Cory Rash Children Education Fund in care of Hornung Family Funeral Home, 1212 W 2nd Street, Liberal, Kansas.
