Connie Earlene Juel, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on October 7, 2024, at Satanta District Hospital in Satanta, Kansas. She was born on May 6, 1943, in Watonga, Oklahoma to Conred Earl and Iva Marie (Waggoner) Sullivan.

Connie grew up in Rolla, Kansas, where she attended elementary and high school.

Connie married Noel Dean Peterson and had a son, Earl Dean. She then married Jewel Miller and had two daughters, Jana and Gina. Connie later married Earl Love and had a daughter, Robin. She then married Anthony Juel and gained a stepson, Jared.

Throughout her life, Connie embraced various career opportunities, from convenience store manager to waitressing and cooking at restaurants and more. The career that Connie was most proud of is when she served as a Certified Nursing Assistant at the Satanta nursing home. Her dedication to others and compassion were hallmarks of her character.

Connie was not only defined by her work but also by her rich tapestry of interests. She was passionate about crafting, cooking, camping, and fishing. Her love for music was evident in her enjoyment of playing the piano and singing hymns with her parents and siblings.

Her family was her pride and joy, and her proudest accomplishment was undoubtedly her children and grandchildren. Connie is survived by her husband, Anthony Juel of Satanta, KS; her son, Earl Dean Peterson (Melissa) of Hugoton, KS; her two daughters, Jana Benton of Las Vegas, NV, and Gina Jacquart (Rollie) of Rocky Ford, CO; a step-son, Jared Juel of Oklahoma City, OK; her two brothers, Jim Sullivan (Aleta) of Rose Hill, KS, Mike Sullivan (Crystal) of Versailles MO; and her sister, Debra Hansen (Steve) of Florence, AZ; along with 13 grandchildren: Trisha (Alec), Stephanie, Alex, Caleb, Madison, Brendon, Tanner, Lydia, Brodey, Jackson, Alexis, Ryan, and Kye and three great-grandchildren: Kayden, Miah, and Luca with one on the way, Maebre.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Keith Edward Sullivan, and daughter, Robin Ann Burchfield.

A visitation will be held in her honor on Thursday, October 10, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Robson Funeral Home in Satanta, Kansas.

A memorial service celebrating her life will take place on Friday, October 11, 2024, at 10:30 AM at the Satanta First Baptist Church in Satanta, Kansas. Private interment will be held later at Rolla Cemetery, Rolla, Kansas.

Connie’s loving spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her legacy of kindness and dedication to her family will live on in their hearts.
