Colleen Raye Dittfurth

Colleen Raye Dittfurth, 70, passed away Sunday, December 18, 2022, at Western Prairie Care Center, in Ulysses, Kansas. She was the daughter of Duane and Ada (Ratliff) Rasmusson and was born June 14, 1952, in Salt Lake City, Utah.

She and Walter “Dale” Dittfurth were married on December 31, 2008, in Elkhart, Kansas. Their marriage was full of love and everlasting enjoyment to each of them. They enjoyed carpenter work and working on their home together. Along with carpenter work, they worked in their garden and cared for their cats and dogs.

She enjoyed keeping her hands busy by crocheting and painting. Colleen was a simple woman and enjoyed it that way.

Colleen is survived by her husband, Dale Dittfurth; two daughters, Laurie Fisher and husband Kent, JoAnna Greene and husband Lee; one son, Mike Anderson and wife Larissa; eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Duane and Ada Rasmusson, and son, Eric Matthew Anderson.

There will be no service per her wishes as cremation has occurred.
