Clyde D. Lambert, 73, died Thursday, February 27, 2014 at the Kansas Medical Center in Andover, KS.
He was born August 7, 1940 at Coats, KS, the son of Merle and Doris (Frame) Lambert.
He married Sondra Maphet on December 21, 1973 at Ft. Scott, KS. She survives.
Clyde was a graduate of Coats High School and attended college at Pratt, KS. He was a Truck Driver for 40 years recently retiring from Jim O’Grady Trucking in 2011. Clyde enjoyed doing yard work, gardening, nature, barbequing, working on cars, and spoiling his great-granddaughter Scarlett. He was a member of Church For all Nations in Liberal..
His survivors include two daughters – Victoria D. Lambert of Liberal, KS, Shiela Schwalm and husband Marc of Hiawatha, KS; three granddaughters – Alexandria Bowen of Liberal, KS, Samantha Lambert of Liberal, KS; Alexis Schwalm of Hiawatha, KS. one grandson – Justin Lambert of Liberal, KS; two step-granddaughters – Lauren Schwalm and Jessica Schwalm; one great-granddaughter – Scarlett Lambert of Liberal, KS; One Sister – Marilyn (Donnie) Council of Albany, GA.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother- Wayne Lambert.
Visitation will be Sunday March 2, 2014 from 12:00 Noon – 5:00 pm at Miller Mortuary.
Funeral Ceremony will be at 10:00 am Monday March 3, 2014 at the Church For All Nations with Pastor Darren Metcalf celebrating.
Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
The family suggests memorials to American Lung Association in care of Miller Mortuary.
