Clifford W. “Cliff” Lewis

Clifford W. “Cliff” Lewis, 92, of Turpin, OK, passed away Monday, December 2, 2013, at Southwest Medical Center, in Liberal.
He was born August 25, 1921, to James M. and Jessie E. (Cone) Lewis, at Tyrone, OK.
He graduated from Eureka High School, at Baker, OK, in 1940.
He served in the United States Army, January 1945 to August 1946.
He employed by Texas Company, as a 1st Class Lab Tester, in Amarillo. He was a farmer, then a field representative for Groendyke Transport, Inc. and Total Petroleum.
He was a member of Turpin United Methodist Church, Kansas American Legion, and served on the OETA Board.
He was married July 26, 1941, to Berniece Scott, at Guymon, OK. She died June 10, 1994. He married Nilene Cunnigham May 19, 2001, at Satanta, KS. She survives.

1 daughter – Bonnie Loveless and husband Rick, of Sterling, KS

Helen Parnell, of Wenatchee, WA
6 grandchildren
9 great grandchildren
14 great-great grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his wife Berniece, his parents, 5 brothers and 2 sisters
Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 6, at Turpin United Methodist Church, with Pastors Todd Bergman and Stan Lehnert, officiating. Burial will be in Liberal Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5 – 8 p.m., Wednesday, and 9 a.m. – 8 p.m., on Thursday. The family will receive friends on Thursday, from 6 – 7 p.m.
