Clifford Kyle Martin

Clifford Kyle Martin, age 66, of Keyes, Oklahoma died Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at his home in rural Keyes, Oklahoma. He was born March 25, 1947 in Independence, Kansas the son of Clifford Donald and Pauline (Hemphill) Martin.

Kyle graduated from Elkhart High School in 1965 and attended Garden City Community College for two years. He married Linda Frownfelter on June 12, 1966 in Richfield, Kansas. Kyle farmed and was a pumper for Anadarko. He was a craftsman woodworker and his family was the recipients of his projects. Kyle could also fix anything including most plumbing and electrical problems. He was a member and deacon at the Hillcrest Baptist Church in Elkhart.

Survivors include his wife, Linda, of their home; son, Ron Martin and wife Laura of Arlington, Texas; daughters, Sherry Pinkley and husband Andy of Elkhart, Kansas, Jennifer Sensley and husband Karl of Elkhart, Kansas; and five grandchildren, Sarah and Adian Martin, Jessica Pinkley, Justice and Gracie Sensley.

Kyle is preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, November 14, 2013, at the First
Church of God in Elkhart, Kansas with Pastor Terrell Giddens and Pastor John Durham officiating. Interment will follow at the Elkhart Cemetery in Elkhart, Kansas. Friends may call from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, November 13, 2013, at Garnand Funeral Home in Elkhart, Kansas. The family requests memorials may be given to the Temple Christian School in Fort Worth, Texas in care of Garnand Funeral Home, PO Box 854, Elkhart, KS 67950.
