Claude Flores, 82, of Liberal, passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2022 at the Satanta Long Term Care Facility in Satanta, KS.
He was born on September 28, 1940 to Alfonso and Geneiva (Ulibarri) Flores at Kismet, KS.
Claude was a well known guitarists playing with the Catalinas. Throughout his years as a musician he also shared the stage with Wanda Jackson and Roy Clark. Claude was inducted into the Legends of Dakota Music Hall of Fame in 2019.
Claude is survived by his Daughter, Heather N Olmstead and husband Eric of Liberal, KS; two Grandchildren, Ethan and Brynley Olmstead; Brother, Dickie Flores; three Sisters, Rosella Arellano and husband Robert, Melinda Campuzano and husband Jesse, and Teresa Humphrey; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, five Brothers, Alfred Flores, Alfonso Flores, Jr., John Richard Flores, Jody Flores, and Butch Kneeland; two Sisters, Marie McNabb and Ida Mae Lara.
There will be no viewing as cremation has taken place.
A Memorial Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am Friday, December 2, 2022 at the Miller Mortuary Chapel.
