– Cindy J. (Dawson) Koehn, age 54, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2020, at the Skyridge Medical Center, Lonetree, Colorado.
She was born July 7, 1966, at St. Joseph, Missouri, the daughter of Edward and Helen Mae (Teague) Dawson. As a young girl, she attended school in St. Joseph, and then later furthered her education receiving her Associates Degree. A longtime area resident, she was the director of the Young at Heart Senior Center in Plains.
She enjoyed knitting, cooking, canning, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by a son, Jaydon Lee Koehn; two daughters, Jamie Loughmiller of Eudora, Kansas, and Megan Ornelas of Copeland, Kansas; a brother, Jeromy Dawson of Kansas City, Missouri; a sister, Linda Barr of Plains, Kansas; and six grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 8, 2020, at Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary, Meade. Cremation has taken place.
The family would welcome memorials to the Cindy Koehn Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
