Christina Aranda, age 56, died Friday, May 24, 2019, at her home in Rolla, Kansas. She was born August 10, 1962, in Amherst, Texas, the daughter of Alfredo Jr. and Josie (Rodriguez) Garcia.

Christina lived in the Huff, Oklahoma, area until she moved to Rolla where she met Domingo Aranda in 1986. They were married February 14, 1986, in Clayton, New Mexico. Christina’s family was her main concern in life. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her husband to pieces, and took pride in everything her children and grandchildren did. She felt very fortunate to share their lives. Christina loved to decorate her house, take care of her house plants, and spent many hours shopping at her favorite store, Wal-Mart. Christina was baptized in the Catholic faith.

Survivors include her husband, Domingo of their home; sons, Jimmy Eagan of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Lance Eagan and wife Theresa of Enid, Oklahoma, Domingo Aranda and wife Selena of Satanta, Isaiah Aranda and wife Gloria of Liberal; daughter, Andrea Boardingham and husband Daveon of Amarillo, Texas; brothers, Lupe Garcia of Rolla, and Robert Garcia of Guymon, Oklahoma; and 13 grandchildren.

Christina is preceded in death by her parents; and sister-in-law, Roseann Garcia.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 29, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Rolla, Kansas, with Pastor Gerry Dupuis officiating. Interment will follow at the Rolla Cemetery.
