Charles Orville Lundberg, 94, of Liberal, passed away Saturday February 4, 2017 at the Liberal Good Samaritan Center in Liberal, KS.

He was born on March 5, 1922 to Arthur and Isabel (Mussey) Lundberg at Sedgwick, CO.

On February 8, 1969 he married Bobbie Grant Regehr at the McPherson, KS.; she survives.

Charles grew up in Haxton, CO, from which he graduated from High School. Charles homesteaded and farmed in Tulelake, CA area from 1949 to 1979. In 1979 he and Bobbie moved to McPherson, KS and then to Liberal, KS in 2005. He enjoyed playing board games and loved spending time with his family. He was a member of Lions Club of McPherson, KS and the First Baptist Church of Liberal.

Charles is also survived by one Son, James H. Regehr of Denver, CO; one Brother, Arthur Lundberg and wife Doris of Palos Verde, CA; one Sister, Eloise Harns and husband Virgil of Paola, CO; one Grandson, Matthew Regehr and wife Donna of Panhandle, TX; Two Granddaughters, Marcy Peterson and husband Curtis of Holcomb, KS, Jamie Nelson and husband Christopher of Denver, CO; 8 Great-Grandchildren, 3 Great, Great-Grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one Sister, Lois Rhoades.

Viewing will be 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm Tuesday, February 7, 2017, at Miller Mortuary.

Funeral services will be 10:30 am Wednesday, February 8, 2017, at the Miller Mortuary Chapel, with Pastor Jason Ramsey, officiating.

Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens.

Memorials are suggested to the First Baptist Church in care of Miller Mortuary PO Box 826 Liberal, KS 67905.
