Charles D. “Butch” Morrow

Butch Morrow, age 65, of Fort Dodge, Kansas died May 26, 2015 at the Kansas Soldiers’ Home Hospital in Fort Dodge, Kansas. He was born June 2, 1949 in Garden City, Kansas the son of John P. and Anna Marie (Stebens) Hall.

Butch grew up in Lakin and Garden City, Kansas. He moved to Elkhart in 1963, living in Fort Doge the last ten years. He Served in the United States Army. Butch received the Purple Heart among other medals. He enjoyed building models, fishing, and traveling.

Survivors include two sisters, Barbara Stinemetz of Great Bend, Kansas and Tommie Henneberry of Elkhart, Kansas; and six nieces, Cathy, Stephanie, Stacy, Starla, Hazel, and Barbie.

Butch is preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, June 1, 2015 at the Elkhart Cemetery in Elkhart with Pastor Jim Lavielle officiating. Military graveside rites will be conducted by VFW Point Rock Post #3162. Friends may call from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at Garnand Funeral Home in Elkhart. Memorial contributions may be given to the Kansas Soldier’s Home of Fort Dodge in care of Garnand Funeral Home, PO Box 854, Elkhart, KS 67950.
