Charlene Clancy, 69, of Guymon, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, September 25, 2011 at Dunaway Manor in Guymon, Oklahoma.
She was born Sept. 21, 1942, in Liberal, Kan., the daughter of Fred and Venice Bartlow Kammerzell.
Charlene was united in marriage to Thomas Clancy. He preceded her in death on Feb. 8, 1990. She will be remembered for her devotion to and love for her family.
Survivors include two sisters, Louise Judd and husband, Roy of Hooker, and Wanda Germann of Liberal, Kan.; one brother, J.H. Kammerzell of Guymon; a special great-niece, Wendy Keith of Hooker; and many other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Royal Kammerzell; three sisters, Bertha Henson, Elnora Scantling and Bonnie Gorden; and sister-in-law, Peggy Kammerzell.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Sept. 29, at 2 p.m. at Roberts Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Hooker with Rev. Les D. Bussell officiating, of the Hooker United Methodist Church in Hooker. Interment will be in the Union Cemetery near Adams directed by Roberts Brothers Funeral Home of Hooker.
Memorials in remembrance of Charlene are suggest for the families use and will be accepted at Roberts Brothers Funeral Home, Box 745, Hooker, Oklahoma 73945.
