Cesar Manuel Landeros

Cesar Manuel Landeros, age 40, of Ulysses, Kansas died Thursday, December 3, 2015 in rural Grant County, Kansas. He was born January 2, 1975 in Dr Arroyo Nuevo Leon, Mexico, the son of Mario Landeros and Maria Concepcion Vargas (Galavis).

Cesar married Maria Cortez in 1993 in Harlingen, Texas. He worked for Nabors Well Service as an oil rig floor hand. Cesar was a member of Templo Emmanuel Church in Ulysses. He loved to cook, dance, sing, and spend time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Maria Cortez of their home; daughters, Viviana Landeros and husband Eliazar Amador of Ulysses, Kansas, Elisabet Landeros of Ulysses, Kansas; mother, Maria Concepcion Vargas (Galavis) of Mexico; siblings, Aracely Landeros Vargas, Carlos Landeros Vargas, Pablo Landeros Vargas, Maria Magdalena Landeros Vargas, Rosalinda Landeros Vargas, Luis Landeros Vargas, Alma Delia Landeros Vargas, Yolanda Landeros Vargas, and Mario Landeros Vargas all from Mexico; and one grandson, Elian Amador. 

Cesar is preceded in death by his father.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, December 7, 2015 at the Primera Iglesia Bautista in Ulysses, Kansas with Pastor George Devora officiating. Interment will follow at the Ulysses Cemetery in Ulysses, Kansas. Friends may call Friday, December 4, 2015 from 7:00 PM until 8:00 AM at the church, Saturday, December 5, 2015 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Garnand Funeral Home, and Sunday, December 6, 2015 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Garnand Funeral Home in Ulysses. Arrangements are in care of Garnand Funeral Home, 405 W. Grant Ave, Ulysses, KS 67880.
