Carrol Letha Leonard, born on June 7, 1948, in Hugoton, Kansas, peacefully passed away on May 17, 2024 at Stevens County Hospital in Hugoton. She was a humble and kind-hearted woman.
Described as simple and sweet, Carrol’s warm presence touched the lives of many. Her love for cooking was evident to all who tasted her delicious meals, and her dedication to helping children with their 4-H projects showcased her nurturing spirit. Carrol found joy in the simple pleasures of life and approached each day with a genuine smile and a willingness to lend a helping hand.
Among Carrol’s proudest accomplishments were her role as a devoted mother and a loving aunt. Her children meant the world to her, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
In this time of mourning, Carrol is reunited with her beloved parents, son Marlon Parker and her brother Gene Leonard. She is survived by her son Roger Parker and his wife Michelle of Topeka, Kansas; as well as by her sister-in-law Shirley Leonard of Hugoton, Kansas; many nieces and nephews. Those who knew her loved her, she will be missed by all.
Carrol’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her best. Her legacy of kindness, generosity, and unwavering love will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to be touched by her presence.
May she rest in peace knowing that she made a profound impact during her time on earth.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for Pheasant Heaven Charities. In the care of Robson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 236, Hugoton, Kansas 67951.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no services held. Robson Funeral Home of Hugoton has been entrusted to the services.
