Carolyn Faye Long, age 64, died Thursday, October 24, 2024, in Wichita, Kansas.

She was born on November 20, 1959, in Beaver, Oklahoma to John, Jr. and Vanita Mae Long.

Carolyn graduated from Forgan, Oklahoma High School, and furthered her studies at the Liberal Area Vo-Tech, where she trained as a Medical Assistant. She worked as a night cashier for Dillon’s and continued her commitment to service as a sales associate for Walmart.

She was a very active member of the community. Carolyn was a member of Youth for Christ, Theta Rhos, the Jr. Branch of Odd Fellows Lodge, the Faith Tabernacle, the First Christian Church of Forgan and was a member of the 4-H. May her memory be a blessing to all who were fortunate enough to share in her story.

Carolyn is survived by her brother of Donald Long and his wife, Debbie of Beaver, Oklahoma,

Sister-in-law, Diana Long of Liberal, Kansas,

Nieces and Nephews, Teresa Long of Kansas City, Missouri,

Jason and Christina Long of Liberal, Kansas,

Keith and Whitney Long of Valley Center, Kansas,

Kiristy Long of Wichita, Kansas,

John Weldon and Kristi Long of Hackett, Arkansas

Jamika and Mark Therique of Bixby, Oklahoma,

Vicky Yorio and her husband, Dan of Cheyenne, Wyoming, and

Many great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Vanita Long, Jr. and

Brothers, Delbert Long and

Gerald Long,

Melvin Long, and

Great nephew, Richard Yurio

Funeral Services and a burial will be held at a later date in Forgan, Oklahoma.

Memorial contributions are suggested to go towards final expenses in care of Hornung Family Funeral Home, 1212 W 2nd Street, Liberal, Kansas.
