Carole Anne (Kennedy) Naylor

Carole Anne (Kennedy) Naylor, 68, died May 25, 2015, at Homestead Health & Rehabilitation, in Garden City, KS. She was born June 19, 1946, in Liberal, KS, to Robert Lott and Irene (Hiebert) Kennedy. She was a lifetime resident of Liberal, moving to Garden City in 2006.

She graduated from Liberal High School, and in 1974, graduated from Liberal Area Vocational School. She went on to further her education at Hesston College.

She was married for a short time to Robert D. Naylor.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, in Liberal and Garden City. She sang with the choir and loved her church family. Carole was very instrumental in organizing the Nuts & Bolts program in Liberal and had served as President for many years. She also loved music, working word search, and reading big books. She had a great sense of color in working with crafts and pictures.

Survivors include:

Sister, Patricia (Kennedy) Ashley, of Chapel Hill, NC

Special Friends, Fred and Kathy Bloom and family, of Liberal, KS

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 30, 2015, at Liberal Cemetery, with Rev. Denise Pass and Rev. Kitty Lum officiating.

Visitation will be 3 – 8 pm Friday at Brenneman Funeral Home in Liberal.

Memorial Contributions may be sent to First Presbyterian Church Day Care or Southwest Guidance Center, in care of Brenneman Funeral Home, 1212 W. 2nd St., Liberal, KS 67901.
