Carol Jean Regier

Carol Jean Regier, 82, Liberal, KS , died Saturday, February 12, 2011,
at Southwest Medical Center, Liberal, KS.

She was born December 15, 1928 in Stevens County, KS, the daughter
of Robert J. & Eva L. Rossell Fisher.

She attended Rose Valley a one room grade school, graduating
Liberal High School in 1947. She married Milferd Regier on July 23,
1950 in Liberal, KS. Carol and her husband farmed for forty-eight years.
She was a member of the Liberal Friends Church, where she was Sunday
School Superintendent , Sunday School Teacher, Director of Bible School,
and was pianist. She also helped in many other local churches .

She is survived by three sons, Ronald Lee Regier and wife Kathy, Plains, KS ; Randy Dean Regier and companion Cindy Reeder, Amarillo, TX; Richard James Regier and wife Nanette, Hesperus, CO;
one sister, Margaret Walker and husband Max, Ft. Collins, CO;
four grandchildren, Mary Davis , Plains, KS; Michael Regier, Overland Park, KS ; Jared Regier, Wichita, KS ;
Rachelle Tagg, Winfield, KS ; five great-grandchildren, Tanner Davis,
& Matthew Davis , Plains, KS ; Caston Regier & Cale Regier,
Overland Park, KS; Eli Tagg, Winfield, KS; three sisters-in-law,
Gwen Fisher, Jean Regier both of Liberal; Elsie Fisher, Arkansas City, KS.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, brothers
Donald & Bradley Fisher, one sister Betty Williams .

Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at the
Liberal Friends Church with Pastor Randy Thornburg presiding.

Interment will be in the Restlawn Memorial Gardens .

Friends may call a the Liberal Mortuary 9 A.M.-8 P.M. Tuesday.

The family suggests the memorials be sent to the Liberal Friends Church
or Liberal Good Samaritan Center in care of the Mortuary
