Carol Garnet (Thresher) Nix

Carol Garnet (Thresher) Nix, 95, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at Crimson Peaks Assisted Living, Mesa, AZ.

Carol was born to Charles and Josephine (Tredway) Thresher on July 13, 1924 at Jetmore, KS.

Harding Capper Nix and Carol were married June 4, 1949, Hillsboro, KS. To this union were Charles and Nancy.

She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She loved crocheting, reading and doing her daily devotionals. Carol enjoyed making Christmas candy for her family.

Carol is survived by daughter, Nancy McIntire and husband Brent, Mesa, AZ.; daughter-in-law, Suzanne Nix, Beaumont, TX.; four grandchildren, Lon Nix, Nolan Nix, Maggie Nix and Matthew McIntire; brother-in-law, Benny Nix and wife Jane, Hugoton, KS.; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Harding Nix, son, Charles Nix, two sisters, Grace Davis, Beth Reimer and brother, Charles Thresher.

A memorial is established for United Methodist Church, Hugoton. Memorials may be mailed to Robson Funeral Home, PO Box 236, Hugoton, KS 67951.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, October 28, 2019, at United Methodist Church, Hugoton, KS at 2:00 p.m. and graveside service following at Hugoton Cemetery, Hugoton, KS.

Visitation will be Sunday October 27, 2019, 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Robson Funeral Home, Hugoton.
