Carl Vernon Johnson 86, died November 15, 2014 at his son residence in South Weber, Utah.
He was born July 3, 1928 in Carlton, KS the son of Melvin and Fredericka “Rickie” Eva (Reiff) Johnson.
He had lived in Wichita, Abilene, Larned and Liberal, KS before moving to Utah to be close to family.
He was employed as a welder for many years.
On March 12, 1955 he married Xyla Norton at Wichita, KS. She died in 1997.

Sons Randy Johnson and wife Gayla South Weber, Utah
Troy Johnson and wife Kristle Belleville, KS
Daughters Sherri Johnson Raleigh, N. Carolina
Reva Preo Larned, KS
Carlin Altman and husband Fred Manhattan, KS
Grandchildren Sheila Lassiter, Kayla and Makyela Johnson of Elk Grove, CA; Heather Torrence Raleigh, North Carolina; Amanda and Amelia Preo Larned, KS; Kailee and Jensrick Altman of Manhattan KS and Maelin Johnson Bellville, KS
5 Great Grandchildren, Sister- In- Law Janet Riffle and her husband Gerald
Many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, one son Kail Johnson, two brothers Earl and Bill Johnson and Sister Margie Clark
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Friday at Brenneman Funeral Home Chapel with LeRoy Sanford presiding. Burial will be held in Arkalon Cemetery.
Visitation time will be held from 5-8pm Thursday at Brenneman Funeral Home.
