Calvin Keith, 79, of Guymon, Oklahoma passed away October 22, 2017 at his home.
Calvin was born July 27, 1938 in Shawnee, Oklahoma, the son of Harrison Robert and Nancy Ann Norman Keith.
He started school in Shawnee and then moved with his family to Guymon, Oklahoma where he continued his education.
After school he worked with his father in the plumbing business for a brief time then worked as a mechanic, welder and worked with the Hooker Lumber Company in Hooker.
He was married to Barbara Ann Daugherty.
He enjoyed making a good trade and could see a trade in most anything he came across.
Calvin enjoyed country music and played the guitar, banjo and accordion.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Robert Keith; a stepson, Roy Kitch and grandson, Trevor Keith.
Members of the family include his wife, Barbara Keith of the home; six sons, Walter Karpe of Optima, Oklahoma, Chuck and Lori Karpe of Lindsey, Oklahoma, Calvin Keith, Jr. of Keyes, Oklahoma, Anthony “Red” Keith of Hardesty, Oklahoma, Eric Keith of Hardesty, Oklahoma, Murry and Melissa Keith of Guymon, Oklahoma; two daughters, Charlotte Keith of Livingston, Texas, Kathy Jones of Grayson, Oklahoma; one sister, Jean Willis of Amarillo, Texas and many grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at the Roberts Brothers Funeral Home in Hooker, Oklahoma.
