Bryce Steven Peterson, 41, of Hugoton, passed away on March 7, 2018 at his home.

He was born on September 21, 1976 to Steven and Tammie (Crane) Peterson at Hugoton, KS.

On October 10, 1997 he married Emily Campbell at Hugoton, KS. She survives.

He attended school at Hugoton, KS and Graduated from Kansas City Community College in 2000 with an Associates Degree in Mortuary Science. Bryce worked as a Embalmer and Funeral Director at Miller Mortuary in Liberal; he was a perfectionist in his embalming skills and took great pride in his work. Bryce enjoyed shooting, fishing, camping, boating, riding his motorcycle, teasing his nieces and nephews and maintaining his yard. He was very proud of his son’s accomplishments! He was a member of First Christian Church of Hugoton.

Bryce is also survived by his Parents – Steve and Tammie Peterson of Hugoton; Two Sons-Trace Matthew Peterson of Camp Pendleton in Oceanside, CA; Takoda Eckert of Manhattan, KS; One Brother-Tylan Peterson and wife Veronica of Hugoton, KS; One Sister- Tanae Cox of Hugoton, KS; Grandmother- Karolyn Crane of Hugoton, KS.

He was preceded in death by One Brother – Chastin Peterson; Grandparents – Bill and Marylou Peterson of Hugoton; and Grandfather- Don Crane of Hugoton, KS

There will not be a public viewing.

Funeral services will 10:00 am Monday, March 12, 2018 at the First Christian Church in Hugoton, KS. with Sr. Minister Heath Kelley officiating.

Burial will follow at the Hugoton Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to the Pheasant Heaven Charities or Miller Mortuary in care of Miller Mortuary PO Box 826 Liberal, KS 67905-0826.
