Bryce Eugene Tedford

Bryce Eugene Tedford, age 78, died Sunday, July 12, 2020 in Forgan, Oklahoma.
He was born September 17, 1941, in Kingman County, Kansas, the son of Carl Jasper Tedford and Lilly Marie Crellen Tedford.

Bryce’s favorite thing to do was to restore old cars. He enjoyed the challenge of the restoration. He also loved going to car shows. He would be there for hours at a time. He had many passions in life, but his family was his everything.

He married his wife, Sarah Beth (Flenniken) Tedford, on June 23, 1978 in Liberal, Kansas. She survives him.

Bryce helped his uncle custom harvest and also helped in his dad’s shop, Tedford Implement. He retired from Yellow Freight System after 30 years.

He was the beloved father of son, Norman W. Tedford and wife Melissa R. Tedford of Garden City, Kansas; daughters, Kimberly D. Tedford of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Sheri L. Minzey of Wheat Ridge, Colorado.

Bryce was the proud grandfather of 6 grandchildren, Ryan Hilgemann, Bryan Hilgemann, Christian Shae Burns, Frankie Burns, Jr., Evin Marie Magana, Joshue Tedford, and 9 great – grandchildren.

Bryce is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Lilly Tedford.

A Memorial Service will be on Friday, July 17th, 2020, at 10:30 AM, at the Brenneman Hornung Family Funeral Home Chapel in Liberal, Kansas. Cremation to follow services.
