Brittany Anne Lage

Brittany Anne Lage, 18, of Elkhart, Kansas and formerly of Texhoma passed away Tuesday morning, March 27, 2018 at the Morton Co. Hospital in Elkhart, Kansas from injuries sustained in an automobile accident north of Texhoma.

The daughter of Valerie Suzanne (Manley) Lage and Jeffrey Alan Lage, Sr. , Brittany was born April 13, 1999 in Indianapolis, Indiana. The family moved to Texhoma in 2006 from Emporia, Kansas. Brittany attended the Texhoma school system and graduated with the Class of 2017 as Salutatorian.

Brittany had moved to Elkhart in January 2018 and had worked as a convenience store clerk. She was most proud of the achievement of her precious baby boy, who was born December 21st.

She is survived by her 3 month old son, Garrett Lane-Parker Gibbs and his father, Cody Gibbs of the home in Elkhart; her parents: Valerie and Jeff Lage of Texhoma; her twin sister, Brandy Lynn Hudgens of Texhoma; two brothers, Brandon and Justin Lage of Texhoma and her grandmother, Karen K. Manley of Muncie, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Ronald Manley.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday morning, March 31st at 11:00 a.m. at the Texhoma First Christian Church. Services are under the care of the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.
