Brisa Lorena Zuniga Gonzales

Brisa Lorena Zuniga Gonzales, age 39, died Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at her residence in Liberal, Kansas.

She was born on May 1, 1985, the daughter of Ismael Zuniga Garcia and Julia Patricia Gonzales in Juarez, Mexico.

Brisa received her education in Liberal, Kansas. She loved eating take-out and being surrounded by her family and friends. Brisa was deeply loved and will be missed by her family and all that knew her.

She is survived by her mother, Julia Patricia Zuniga and her significant other, Jose Vega of Liberal, Kansas, and
her brother Edgar Rene Zuniga Gonzales of Jaurez, Mexico.

Brisa was preceded in death by her father, Ismael Zuniga Garcia.

Visitation will be 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, on Monday, May 6, 2024, at the Hornung Family Funeral Home, 1212 W. 2nd Street, Liberal, Kansas.

Rosary will follow at 7:00 PM, Monday, May 6, 2024, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 1510 N. Calhoun, Liberal, Kansas.

The funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at St. St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Reverend Charles Seiwert will be celebrating.

Burial to follow at the Liberal Cemetery.
