Brenda Jo “BJ” Moser, 64, passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at her home in Hugoton, Kansas. The daughter of William and Ruby (Hancock) Fullerton was born April 19, 1957, in Superior, Nebraska.
She served the Hugoton community with professionalism for 12 years (2009-2021). Her law enforcement career began in 1994 as a dispatcher with the Stanton County Sheriff’s Department. She also worked for Morton and Stevens Counties before her employment in Hugoton. She loved her grandkids and great-grandson and enjoyed spending time with them.
Survivors include four sons, Jeremy Moser and wife Amy, Guymon, OK., Matthew Moser, Sheridan Lake, CO., Joshua Moser and wife Heidi, Guymon, OK., Christopher Moser, Ulysses, KS.; one brother, Dave Fullerton, Mankato, KS.; four sisters, Phyllis Olmstead, Emporia, KS., Norma Eitzmann, Superior, NE., Yvonne Blair, Superior NE., Claudine Fullerton, Superior, NE.; five grandchildren; Trenton, Sunja, Kayden, Chloe, Jake, Justin and Huston; great-grandchild, Landon; many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Dean, Roy, Donald, Lavern; sisters, Bernice, Neva, and Joyce; four infant brothers and one infant sister.
Cremation is under the direction of Robson Funeral Home, Hugoton.
Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, 10 AM at Gospel Church of Grace, Hooker, Oklahoma with Pastor Christopher McFarland presiding. The burial will be at a later time at Montrose, Kansas.
