Bradley L. Foster

Bradley L. Foster, age 67, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Thursday morning, March 17, 2022, at the Minneola District Hospital, Minneola, Kansas.

He was born May 10, 1954, at Tacoma, Washington, the son of Forrest Fontaine and Erva Lee (Boyd) Foster. As a young boy he attended school in Dodge City, Kansas.

He enjoyed reading the Bible and ministering to others, playing fish pitch and pinochle, and spending time with his family and friends.

On June 21, 1974, he married Sandra Young at Meade, Kansas. They were blessed with a wonderful son, Joshua of Meade and a beautiful daughter Quianne Davis of Meade. Brad worked in the oilfield the first ten years of their marriage. In 1986, Brad accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and felt the call of God on his life into the ministry. This was his true love – Jesus – and to see souls saved through the preaching of the Gospel.

Brad worked as Meade County’s Director and Manager of the landfill, disposal, hazardous waste, and recycle department for many years. He loved family and all of his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and the family get-togethers, cooking out, and playing games.

Other survivors include a brother, Boyd Foster and wife Debbie of Fowler, Kansas; six sisters, Cindy Viers of Aubrey, Texas, Teresa Foster of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, Ginger Dominguez of Dodge City, Tanya Pimentel and husband David of Garden City, Kansas, Brandy Reinert Meyers of Azel, Texas, and Misty Granados and husband Toby of Fowler; five grandchildren, Anthony Schmidt, Tailan Schmidt, Ethan Davis, Derik Davis, and Aron Davis; and four great-grandchildren, Waylon Weber, Cruz Mills, Channing Schmidt, and Avery Davis.

He is preceded in death by a son Jade Derek Foster; a daughter, Quaferley Dawn Foster; and his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 Thursday, March 24, 2022, at the New Beginnings Fellowship Church, Meade. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary, Meade. Interment will follow in the Graceland Cemetery, Meade.
