Bladimir Mesta, 17, of Hooker, Oklahoma passed away January 20, 2017 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas.
He was born January 13, 2000 in Guymon, Oklahoma, the son of Roy and Maruilu Silerio Mesta.
He attended school in Hooker and was currently a junior in high school.
Bladimir was a three-time state champion in Oklahoma, running in cross country and ran track. He enjoyed playing soccer and loved his family and his many friends.
Proceeded in death by his grandfathers, Domingo Silerio and Guillermo Mesta.
Family members are his parents, Roy and Maruilu Mesta of Hooker, Oklahoma; his brothers, Guillermo Mesta of Guymon, Oklahoma, Roy Mesta, Jr. of Hooker, Oklahoma and Jeovany Mesta of Hooker, Oklahoma; his sister Yarel Mesta of Hooker, Oklahoma; maternal grandmother, Guadalupe Molina of Liberal, Kansas; paternal grandmother, Bertha Mesta of Mexico.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at the Hooker High Gymnasium with Celebrant Fr. Raul Sanchez of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. A rosary will be said on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hooker. Interment will be at the Hooker Cemetery directed by Roberts Brothers Funeral Home in Hooker, Oklahoma.
