Bill Meek, age 84 died Sunday, August 11, 2013 at Kansas Medical Center, 
Wichita, KS.
He was born September 7, 1928 in Winnipeg, Canada the son of Bill and 
Fannie (Conley) Meek.
He has been a resident of Liberal since 1969. He has worked for Philips 
Petroleum on drilling rigs and also working for Smith Tool Company as a 
Salesman.
He graduated from Stafford High School in Stafford High School and 
attended University of Kansas and Ft. Hays State.

He was a big fan of KU, The Dodgers and Green Bay Packers.

On September 22, 1949, he married Anna Lee House at Hays, Kansas. She 
survives.

4 Sons – David Meek and wife Nancy Kingwood, TX
Bill Meek and wife Michelle Liberal, KS
Kevin Meek and wife Donna Liberal, KS
Gary Meek and wife Kim Moore, OK

8 Grandchildren Shawn Meek, Brandon Meek, Bryan Meek, Jason Meek, Joshua 
Meek, Farrah Robinson, Kerry Ools and Adam Wooden, 16 Great Grandchildren.

Preceded in by Parents and Twin sons David Lee and Gary Lynn.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Friday at Faith Tabernacle with 
Pastor Rex Petty presiding.

Burial will take place at 11:30 am Saturday at Mt. Allen Cemetery in 
Hays, KS. with Rev. Jerre Nolte presiding.

Visitation time will be from 9am to 8pm Thursday at Brenneman Funeral 
Home with the family to greet friends from 6 – 8pm Thursday.

Memorials may be sent to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital in care 
of Brenneman Funeral Home 1212 W. 2nd Liberal, KS 67901.
