Bill Dahle, age 64, passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas. He was born on June 19, 1960, in Deadwood, South Dakota, the son of Delmar and Lila (Huddleston) Dahle.
Bill married Colleen Dickey on August 28, 1987, in Manitou Springs, Colorado. Bill was a skilled mechanic, carpenter, woodworker and metal artist. He worked for Weber Supply, Ivan Dickey and Sons, and Tarbet Redi-Mix for many years as a mechanic. While working for Ivan, Bill helped build three terra-gators which they used for the manure spreading business. If it had Mack on the front of it, Bill knew how to fix it. He enjoyed spending time crafting metal figures, a playground for his grandchildren, and other projects.
Bill also enjoyed visiting with friends, going camping with his family and traveling. Some of the high lights were traveling to Oregon for a family vacation, attending his son’s wedding in Wyoming and his daughter’s wedding in Jamaica.
Popster loved being around his grandchildren and attending their events. He enjoyed it when they came to visit, ride around in the golf cart and was always telling them jokes.
Bill is survived by his wife, Colleen, of their home; son, Justin Dahle and wife, Joelle, of Moscow; daughter, Monica Teeter and husband, Levi, of Ulysses; sisters, Janice Richardson and husband, Dennis of Bainbridge, Georgia, and Hope Pierson and husband, Terry, of Moscow; brother, Brad Dahle of Moscow; seven grandchildren, Christopher and Gary Dahle, LeAnn, Lila, Ashlyn, Sylvia, and Lakota Teeter; nieces, nephews and extended family and friends; and his faithful and constant companion, Dally.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Delmar and Lila Dahle; son, Cody Dahle; and brother, Jeff Dahle; and sisters, Vicki Johnson and Jeane Gunderson.
