Betty Lola Kaup

Betty Lola Kaup, age 86, died Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, KS.
She was born on October 11, 1928 in Sharon, KS, the daughter of Henry Lawrence and Esther Ellen (Davis) Martin.
She attended Medicine Lodge High School in Medicine Lodge, KS. She had been a resident of Liberal, since 1947. She worked as a waitress for Anita’s Café and the Chuck Wagon Restaurant. She was an active member of the First Church of the Nazarene, serving as the Nursery Superintendant for 12 years.
On September 14, 1946, she married Von Kaup in Medicine Lodge, KS. He died October 31, 2004.

2 Brothers Paul Martin and wife Carolyn Wichita, KS
Billie Martin and wife Linda Liberal, KS
3 Sisters Wilma Murphy El Dorado, KS
Marilyn Olomon Saint Marys, GA
Miriam Bradford Wichita, KS
11 Grandchildren 21 Great Grandchildren and 6 Great-Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 Daughter Kathryn Kay Kaup, 2 Sons Donald Dean Kaup and Von Everett Kaup, 3 Brothers Lawrence, Lloyd and Charles Martin and 4 Sisters Elsie Wells, Ruth Brown, Mildred Shrimp and Marjorie Colborn.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at the First Church of the Nazarene, Liberal, KS with Pastor Arlen Ankle presiding. Burial will follow at Restlawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Tuesday at Brenneman Funeral Home.
