Bettie Pauline Bach

Bettie Pauline Bach, aged 100, peacefully passed away on July 22, 2024, at Pioneer Manor Nursing Home in Hugoton, Kansas. She was born on August 26, 1923, in Glade, Kansas to her late parents, Milton and Mary (Taylor) Keeten.
Bettie devoted many years to serving as a court clerk in Haskell County, Kansas. Her dedicated work ethic and affable personality endeared her to all who crossed paths with her. She took great pride and joy in daily responsibilities and became a well-respected figure within the community.
A devoted member of the Lutheran Church. Bettie called Faith Lutheran Church of Hugoton her home until she couldn’t no longer attend. She was in constant prayer for her family and a dependable reporter of the weather, for all their locations. She loved her family but she loved the Lord most of all and impressed upon her loved ones the importance of going to church and being a part of the body of Christ. Many will remember the cinnamon rolls. Bettie made and her delicious angel sugar cookies and Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
On January 12, 1947, Bettie married Paul William Bach in Stuttgart, Kansas. Their union blessed them with two children, Greg and Sandra. Beyond her professional achievements, Bettie was known for her maternal warmth and friendship towards many. Her kind nature and inclusive spirit made others feel comfortable in her presence. An avid crocheter and reader, Bettie found fulfillment in contributing positively to those around her.
Survived by her daughter Sandra Passmore and husband Bob; daughter-in-law Elva Bach, Kalispell; five grandchildren: Ryan Passmore, Kerri Corneil, Melissa Voller, Jennifer Dahlman, and Lacey Larson; as well as eleven great-grandchildren: Paul, Kara, Keeten, Carson, Aiden, Maddy Bailee, Carter Kinley Hadley, and Lincoln.
Bettie was preceded in death by her husband Paul; son Greg; four brothers: Dean, Merle, Max, Harold; and six sisters: Twila Johnston, Zelma Southard, Doris States, Arleta Power, Margaret Keeten, and Evelyn Keeten.
A memorial has been established for Pioneer Manor Nursing Home and Hugoton Methodist Church in care of Robson Funeral Home at P.O. Box 236 Hugoton, Kansas 67951.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, July 25th from 2 P.M. to 8 P.M., and Friday, July 26th from 10 A.M. to 8 P.M. at Robson Funeral Home, Hugoton.
The funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, July 27th at 2 P.M. at Hugoton Methodist Church in Hugoton, Kansas with burial immediately following at Hugoton Cemetery; led by Pastor Wes Young.
Arrangements are being handled by Robson Funeral Home of Hugoton.
