Bertha Alicia Loya De Mercado

Bertha Alicia Loya De Mercado, 52, of Liberal, passed away on February 4, 2014 at Liberal, Kansas.

She was born on April 5, 1961 to Juan and Erlinda (Ramirez) Loya at Namiquipa Chihuahua, Mexico. Bertha moved to the United States in 1991 and was employed with National Beef Packing Co for 16 years.

She married Manuel Mercado in Mexico. He Survives.

Bertha is also survived by Three Sons – Erasmo Mercado and spouse Vanessa of Amarillo, TX; Gerardo Mercado and spouse Mirna of Liberal, KS; Eric Mercado and spouse Jose Videl of Liberal, KS. Mother Erlinda Ramirez of Mexico. Six Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her Father.

Visitation will be 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm Thursday, February 06, 2014 at Miller Mortuary, Liberal, KS.

Rosary/Vigil Service will be 7:00 PM Thursday, February 06, 2014 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church of Liberal.

Funeral Mass will be 10:30am Friday, February 7, 2014 at the St Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with Father Hector De La Vega officiating.

Burial will take place in the Liberal City Cemetery.
