Bernice Ann Wilson

Bernice Ann Wilson, age 80, died Sunday May 26th at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, KS.
She was born on August 22, 1932 to George and Irma (Auernheimer) Vogts in Canton, KS.
Bernice was a graduate of Canton High School and moved to Liberal, KS in 1969. In 1979 she was employed at Gibson’s in Liberal from which she retired when the store closed. She was an avid baker of cookies, enjoyed by her family and many Gibson’s employees.
She is survived by three daughters: Virginia Rowson and husband Bill of Salina, KS; Debra Burdick of Aberdeen, SD; and Karen Ralston and husband John of Liberal, KS. One Brother; William Vogts of Canton, KS. Twelve Grandchildren and Seven Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and two sisters.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday May 30th at the First United Methodist Church in Liberal, KS with Reverend Dave Randall officiating. Burial will be at 11:00 AM Friday May 31st at the Canton Township Cemetery in Canton, KS.
The family suggests memorials to Southwest Miracles or Relay for Life in care of the Mortuary.
