Bernadine Maria Marino, age 53, died December 23, 2020 at KU Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas

She was born May 8, 1967 the daughter of Frank Martinez in Guymon, Oklahoma.

She was the beloved wife of Miguel Marino and devoted mother of 3 beautiful children and a caring Nana.

Bernadine graduated high school from Guymon High School and went on to become a CNA for Home Health Care.

She enjoyed dancing her favorite music being Disco. She loved being a nana and caring for her grandchildren. Decorating her home was one of her greatest pastimes. Bernadine was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and watching them play was a great thrill. She loved her family who were everything to her. Spending time with them was what she looked most forward to doing.

2 sons, Michael McDonald of Vancouver, Washington and
Jacob and his wife, Valeria Gomez McDonald of Plains Kansas
1 daughter, Brittany and her husband Armando Puentes also of Plains, Kansas
1 brother, Chris Martinez of Turpin, Oklahoma
And 13 grandchildren, Jasmine, Chona, Dina, Michael, Chris, Niño, Brittany, Brianna, Armando, Sofia, Melaine, Evalyn and Julius.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at the
Hornung Family Funeral Home 1212 W. 2nd Liberal, KS 67901.

Funeral Services will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at the Hornung Family Funeral Home Chapel 1212 W. 2nd Liberal, KS 67901.

Interment will follow at the Liberal Cemetery, Liberal, Kansas.
