Belva R. Taylor

Belva R. Taylor, 78, died Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at Liberal Good Samaritan Center.
She was born October 13, 1935 at Hereford, TX, the daughter of Luther Peers and Edna (Hill) Wheat.
She married Billy D. Taylor on March 15, 1957 at Clayton, NM. He preceded her in death on July 16, 1980.
Belva was a Class of 1953 Graduate of Amarillo High School and attended Amarillo College. She was a Desk Clerk for Gateway Inn for many years. She also worked for Kory’s Jack and Jill and several other stores at the Southgate Mall.
Belva enjoyed her grandchildren, her dogs and needlework.
Her survivors include Daughter – Julie Krause and husband Kory of Liberal, KS; Son – Curtis Taylor and wife Melisa of Payson, AZ; Sister – Lisa Randall and husband Danny of Mesa, AZ. 5 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and one grandson: Nicholas Keil Taylor.
Visitation will be 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm Thursday and 9:00 AM – 12:00 Noon Friday at Miller Mortuary. The family will be present to receive friends from 6:00 – 7:00 Thursday evening.
Graveside Service will be at 2:00 pm Friday February 14, 2014 at Liberal City Cemetery with Pastor Rex Petty celebrating.
The family suggests memorials to Angels for Animals in care of Miller Mortuary.
