Beatrice Roberts

SCOTT CITY – Beatrice Roberts, age 58, passed away late Thursday evening, February 16, 2023, at the Hays Medical Center, Hays, Kansas.
She was born December 5, 1964, at Mora, Minnesota, the daughter of Roy and Patricia Langenbau. As a young girl, she attended school in Mora, graduating from Mora High School. A resident of Lakin, Meade, and Scott City, she was a certified nurses aide and a homemaker.
On February 27, 1990, she married Terry Lee Roberts at Lakin, Kansas. He precedes her in death on April 4, 2009.
She is survived by her children, Wendy Boyer of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Kurt Boyer of Gothenburg, Nebraska, and Jessica Willet of Medford, Oklahoma; two brothers, Roy Langenbau and James Langenbau; a sister, Jennifer Langenbau; and six grandchildren.
Friends may call from 9:00 until 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary, Meade. Memorial graveside services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, February 24, 2023, at Graceland Cemetery, Meade.
The family would welcome memorials to the Beatrice Roberts Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
