Barbara June Clark, age 86, passed away Thursday, December 3, 2020, at Wheatridge Park Care Center in Liberal, Kansas.

 

She was born May 29, 1934 the daughter of Robert Carter and Adlee Belle Wilson Clark in Wichita County Kansas.

 

She graduated from Leoti High School in Leoti, Kansas in 1952. She went on to receive her master’s degree from Ft. Hays State College. 

 

Barbara was a USD480 teacher for 50 years at Lincoln School.

 

She belonged to Beta Eta Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma, Beta Signa Phi, The First United Methodist Church, The First United Methodist Women and a member of the Church Choir.

 

Survived by

Her sister, Margaret Koestel of Grand Junction, Colorado.

 

Preceded in death by both parents, her brother, Robert Wilson Clark and sister, Evelyn Mary Clark.

 

Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 8, 2020 from 9:00 AM til 8:00 PM at the Hornung Family Funeral Home Hornung Family Funeral Home 1212 W. 2nd Liberal, Kansas.

 

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Hornung Family Funeral Home 1212 W. 2nd Liberal, Kansas with Brad Bennett Officiating. 

 

Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM at Leoti Cemetery.

 

Memorial contributions suggested to First United Methodist Church in care of the Hornung Family Funeral Home 1212 W. 2nd Liberal, KS 67901.
