Barbara Gatlin of Colorado City Colorado passed away after a short illness on February, 19, 2025. She was born in McPherson, Kansas, on July 25, 1933. She married Paul Gatlin on July 19, 1952. They were married for 66 years,
She is survived by four children, Linnette Talbott, of Wichita, Kansas, Mike Gatlin (Becky) of Pueblo West, Colorado, Marcy Duncan (Glenn),Edinburg, Texas, Drew Gatlin (Mary) Walsenburg, Colorado, Five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
She was active with Eastern Star and Rainbow Girls in Liberal, Kansas, where she was Mother Advisor, Liberal Assembly #11 International Order of Rainbow for Girls. Living in Liberal, Kansas for a long period of time, she worked in several ladies dress and fashion shops.
Barbara has kept active in her golden years. She is an avid collector of antiques and collectibles, and has kept active buying and selling collectibles while running an antique shop. She has also kept active in her church by singing in the choir and helping with children’s bible school.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at the Valley Community Church in Colorado City. Burial were held following the services in the LaVeta Community Cemetery.
