Barbara Campbell

Barbara Campbell, age 80, went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 7, 2023, in Liberal, Kansas.

She was born on October 10, 1942, and raised at the height of WWII, the daughter of Marjorie and Frank Thompson at the family farm near Rolla, Kansas.

Barbara graduated from Rolla High School in 1960. She furthered her working career by achieving two associate degrees at SCCC; Psychology, 1995 and Accounting, 1998. Barbara was married twice and had three sons: James Dean, William Arville, and Clinton Gene. Barbara taught school from 1976-2000 and retired in 2003. She loved books and collecting stamps. Barbara had a wonderful sense of humor but didn’t recognize it in herself. She will be fondly remembered by her friends and loved ones.

She is survived by
her three sons, James Dean Campbell of Liberal, Kansas,
William Arville Campbell of Miriam, Kansas,
and Clinton Gene Campbell and his wife Janis, of Henderson, Nevada,
brother, Donald D. Thompson,
sister, Francis J. Cooper,
seven grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Marjorie, and Frank Thompson,
One brother, Roland L. Thompson.
