Arturo Martinez Arredondo

Arturo Martinez Arredondo, age 59, died on Sunday, August 13, 2023, at his residence in Liberal, Kansas.

He was born on December 15, 1963, the son of Nemecio Martinez and Maria Del Refufio in Durango Mexico.

Arturo was united in marriage to the love of his life, Esther Suarez Garcia and was the father of two sons, Arturo Jr., and Jesus. Arturo worked as a fabricator for Seaboard and his favorite pastime was working on cars and welding. He will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

He is survived by his wife, Esther Suarez Garcia, sons, Arturo Martinez Jr. and Jesus Martinez, mother, Maria Del Refufio, brothers Alfredo Martinez, Nemecio Martinez, Hugo Martinez, Saul Martinez, and Elizaldo Martinez, sisters, Martina Castrejon, and Elida Campos, and two grandchildren, Nahyeli Martinez, and Ayden Martinez.
Preceded in death by his father, Nemecio Martinez.

Visitation will be 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM on Monday, August 21, 2023, at the Hornung Family Funeral Home, 1212 W. 2nd Street, Liberal, Kansas

Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at the Hornung Family Funeral Home Chapel.

A burial to follow at Liberal Cemetery.
