Arnold L. Eaton, 83, passed away on Thursday September 12, 2024 at his home near Liberal, KS.
He was born on January 1, 1941 to Louis and Barbara (Amerin) Eaton at Plains, KS.
He married Sandra Winter on July 25, 1960 at Liberal, KS.
Arnold was a graduate of Plains, KS High School; class of 1958. He later went on to obtain a Bachelor Degree from Friends University. Arnold served as an Airman 1st Class in the US Air Force then later served in the Army National Guard. He was a welder for many years; being the first to arrive at any job he held. Arnold was a former Hunter’s Education Instructor, and Scout Master. He was a member of Knights of Columbus and the NRA. Arnold never knew a stranger and loved to socialize with others; he was also quick to help others in need. He’ll always be remembered for being a great provider for his family and a great character influence for children.
Arnold is survived by his loving wife of 64 years Sandra; Two Sons, Paul Arnold Eaton of Liberal, KS, Michael Otto Eaton of San Rafael, CA; Daughter, Malissa Marie Speer of Norman, OK; Eight Grandchildren and Six Great Grandchildren..
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Brother, David Eaton and Sister, Helen Rule.
There will be no viewing as cremation has taken place.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at the Miller Mortuary Chapel.
An Inurnment will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, September 20, 2024, at the Saint Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Norman, OK.
