Annabel Ortiz

Annabel Ortiz, age 36, of Ulysses, Kansas died Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at Via Christi St. Francis, Wichita, Kansas. She was born January 18, 1978 in Ulysses, Kansas, the daughter of Jesse L. Ortiz and Maria Susie (Barrera) Ortiz.

Annabel grew up in Ulysses, Kansas. She enjoyed drawing, singing, dancing and spending time with her family.

She is survived by two sons; Oscar Rivera and Alexis Ortiz, one daughter; Diamyrie Ortiz, all of Ulysses, Kansas, her mother Maria Susie Ortiz of Ulysses, Kansas three brothers; Orlando Ortiz of Ulysses, Kansas, Jesse L. Ortiz, III of Conroe, Texas, Jamie Ortiz of Ulysses, Kansas, and one sister; Diana Hernandez of Strong City, Kansas.

Annabel is preceded in death by her father; Jesse Ortiz, one brother; Oscar Ortiz and one sister; Olivia Ortiz.

Friends may call on Friday, December 26, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Garnand Funeral Home Chapel, Ulysses, Kansas. Graveside service will be held Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ulysses Cemetery, Ulysses, Kansas with Ismael Lopez officiating.
